Compared to cast iron discs, carbon-ceramic discs have, based on their special composite and very high hardness, a four times longer lifetime and an obviously less brake pad wear.
Durability and constant performance over time
For use in sportscars, also on a racetrack, the lifetime advantages can be even higher in comparison to a cast iron disc. This is also applied for the brake pad wear.
