High-performance Braking Precision

Advanced composite brake discs and robust aluminum calipers are at the core of Brembo’s high-performance braking system for the BMW M5 Sedan.

At the front, six-piston fixed calipers work in tandem with 420x40 mm drilled discs, while the rear setup features 398x28 mm discs with single-piston floating calipers.

Developed to withstand high thermal loads, the drilled discs ensure excellent fade resistance and thermal stability, delivering consistent braking performance even under the most demanding driving conditions.

Lighter, yet stronger

For drivers seeking maximum braking performance, the optional Carbon Ceramic Brakes (CCB) deliver stopping power on par with top-tier sports cars.

Made from fade-resistant carbon silicon, these discs offer not only exceptional thermal stability but also reduce weight by approximately 25 kg compared to standard drilled discs. The result is more responsive handling, sharper dynamics, and enhanced overall driving performance—especially under high loads.
