We are proud to announce that we are now officially EMAS validated! It is with great pleasure that we share that our Meitingen site has been successfully audited and recognized in accordance with EMAS. This achievement confirms our strong commitment to environmental responsibility and stands as a clear signal of our dedication to sustainable practices.
EMAS (Eco-Management and Audit Scheme) is a voluntary environmental management system of the European Union. Its aim is to systematically improve a company's environmental performance and present it transparently.
As part of the EMAS validation process, checks are carried out to ensure that all relevant environmental regulations are being complied with, environmental impacts (e.g., energy, waste, emissions) are being recorded and assessed, specific targets and measures for improvement are being implemented, and the environmental statement is accurate and comprehensible.
The audit is carried out by an independent, state-approved environmental verifier. If validation is successful, the company may be registered with EMAS.
